Budapest – Lantos Mihály Sports Center

Commissioned by Építész Stúdió Kft., we had the opportunity to design the landscape plans for the immediate surroundings of the newly constructed athletics training hall and running corridor at the Lantos Mihály Sports Center in Zugló. The design task included not only the pedestrian pathways but also a 32-space, densely tree-lined parking area and a forecourt in front of the building’s main entrance. A significant tree replacement obligation arose in the area, which had to be fulfilled within the project site. The trees were planted along the property boundaries and scattered across grassy areas.
