Csepel – High School Courtyard

Commissioned by BIM.Group Kft., we had the opportunity to design the landscape plans for the courtyard of the Jedlik Ányos High School in Csepel. The tender-level plans for the courtyard were completed in 2019, while the construction-level plans were finalized in 2022. A new wing was built on the site of the school’s demolished gymnasium, fully meeting the educational needs of the present day. This new wing includes a modern gym, classrooms, and a glass-domed atrium. A notable feature of the courtyard is its approximately 1-meter level difference. The pathways connecting the buildings align with the floor level, while the sports area and the eastern end of the courtyard are situated at a higher elevation. The courtyard includes an outdoor classroom, two artificial turf sports fields, a triple jump track, a terrace with a wooden deck, a street workout area, and spaces designed for outdoor group learning and social interactions.
