Dorog, Richter Gedeon Plc. – Gatehouse Environment

Our commission focused on the landscape architectural design for the surrounding of the architecturally redesigned gatehouse at Richter Gedeon Plc.’s branch in Dorog. The gatehouse serves not only as a reception area for employees and visitors but also houses offices and laboratory spaces. On the exterior side, facing public areas, a representative garden with rich vegetation was established, while on the interior side, a garden supporting pedestrian circulation and outdoor relaxation was created. Adjacent to the gatehouse entrance, a diverse rain garden was designed, while lush perennial planting zones were implemented near the interior relaxation terrace. The design challenge involved bridging significant elevation differences and adapting to land-use requirements outside the project area.
