Paloznak – Case Study
As a continuation of the project prepared in collaboration with the Architect Studio Ltd, we were also commissioned to prepare a landscaping study for the hotel. The design area defined in the tender has been extended to more than 4,900 square metres, which has resulted in a significant change to the planned hotel building and the associated garden area. The concept was to manage the servicing of a hotel with separate residential units and an adjoining restaurant unit, through the use of aesthetic and contemporary landscaping tools. As a central element of the landscaping programme, based on backyard fruit and vegetable production, the restaurant is accompanied by outdoor dining areas with solid and scattered paving, ornamental and utility plant beds. A service road and parking area adjacent to the main building and landscaping plans for a model horticultural farm and demonstration centre on a separate plot were also prepared.
